PT Macmahon Indonesia operates a limestone quarry near Banda Aceh in North Sumatera. Around 4.6 million bones of rock per year is blasted and hauled from various locations and fed into 3 separate crushers, Macmahon also has mining and civil construction protects in Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia and Africa.
Position: Accountant
The Role
* Maintain an accurate payment process ensuring it conform with Macmahon standard and policies, data entry with correct codes into accounting software
* Process required Finance reports needed, monthly expenses, balance sheet, recons
* Preparation of company taxation reports, payroll, top up request – Assisting in audit process
* Providing general administrative & accounts support
The Candidate
This role will be based in Banda Aceh. This role is part of a small team that values flexibility. Accuracy and a willingness to do what is required to meet deadlines. You will also need the following skills and attributes: – Substantial (3/years) experience in Finance/Accounting
* Experience in using Quickbooks Accounting program for private company (is a must)
* Good interpersonal skill, honest, team work, committed, able to work under pressure
* Formal Qualifications will be highly regarded.
* Good Communication skill—Indonesia and English Essential.
